Please enter your child’s name in the “Ticket Holder” field at check-out. \nProgram Overview\nClub OODAZU is excited to offer Futsal (Indoor Soccer) Train & Play sessions\, designed to help players sharpen technique\, improve decision-making\, and grow their love for the game in a fast-paced\, high-energy environment. \nFutsal is a version of indoor soccer played on hard courts using a smaller\, heavier ball designed for control\, quick passing\, and fast play\, making it one of the most effective ways to develop close ball control and game awareness. \nThis 55-minute program runs on Fridays and is open to athletes ages 6–17. Each session blends technical training with structured\, futsal-style gameplay\, maximizing touches and engagement for every player. \nIdeal for All Skill Levels\nThis program is intentionally designed for both recreational players and academy / competitive athletes. Beginners benefit from increased touches\, simple game concepts\, and confidence-building play\, while advanced players gain faster decision-making\, sharper footwork\, improved movement off the ball\, and enhanced creativity in tight spaces. DESCRIPTION:This is a 60-minute\, once-a-week youth 3v3 basketball league held on Fridays (6 sessions total) running from June 5th – July 17th (no session July 3rd). Please select your child’s age group based on their age at the time of the first session and enter your child’s name in the “Ticket Holder” field at check-out. \nProgram Overview\nClub OODAZU is excited to introduce ZU HOOPS: 3v3 Game Lab\, a fast-paced\, high-energy basketball experience built around repetition\, decision-making\, and fun. \nZU HOOPS was created to provide young athletes with an environment that blends developmental training and competitive play in a way that is both engaging and energetic. The name “ZU” reflects the energy\, movement\, and limitless potential we aim to create for every athlete—an atmosphere that feels dynamic\, fun\, and elevated while still grounded in strong fundamentals. Our coaching staff is made up of highly experienced trainers and coaches who have played and coached at competitive levels and have extensive backgrounds in youth development programs and team environments. \nThe 3v3 format aligns perfectly with this mission—offering more touches\, more shots\, and more opportunities for players to learn through real game situations. It encourages creativity\, spacing\, communication\, and quick decision-making in a way that traditional 5v5 settings often cannot. \nAge Groups \n\n7U & 8U (9/1/2018 – 8/31/2020)\n9U & 10U (9/1/2016 – 8/31/2018)\n11U & 12U (9/1/2014 – 8/31/2016)\n13U & 14U (9/1/2012 – 8/31/2014)\n\nPlayers will be grouped by age and skill level as needed to ensure balanced and competitive gameplay. \nProgram Format\nEach 60-minute session is designed for maximum game reps and energy: \n\n5 minutes: Quick warm-up / intro\n45–50 minutes: Continuous 3v3 gameplay\n5–10 minutes: Finals\, challenge games\, or “King of the Court”\n\nGameplay Structure\n \n\n8–10 minute 3v3 games (running clock)\n2–3 games per team per session\nSmall rosters (4–5 players per team) to maximize playing time\n\nThis format ensures every player is constantly involved\, building confidence\, decision-making\, and basketball IQ. \nSchedule\nFridays | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM\n(June 5th – July 17th\, no session July 3rd) \nEach team will be assigned a specific 60-minute time slot within this window. Final schedules will be released after registration is completed and teams are formed. \nRegistration\nRegistration closes June 1st or when capacity is reached.\nSpots are limited due to small team sizes (4–5 players per team).\nFinal team assignments and game schedules will be shared prior to the first session.
