DESCRIPTION:This is a 55 minute\, once a week program on Thursdays (10 sessions) running from May 14th – July 30th. Please select your child’s age group based on the age they are at the time of the first session and enter your child’s name in the “Ticket Holder” field at check-out. \nProgram Overview\nClub OODAZU is excited to offer Youth Basketball Train & Play sessions designed to help athletes build skills\, confidence\, and a love for the game in a fun\, structured environment. \nThis 55-minute program runs every Thursday (excluding major holidays) and is open to athletes ages 6–17. Each session blends skill-focused training with organized gameplay\, giving players the opportunity to learn\, practice\, and apply basketball fundamentals in real game situations. \nAll Skill Levels Welcome\nThis program is intentionally designed for all levels\, from beginners learning basketball for the first time to club and competitive players seeking additional training and scrimmage opportunities. Our coaches tailor instruction to meet athletes where they are and will group players by age and skill level as needed to ensure appropriate challenge\, safety\, and development for everyone. \nProgram Format\nEach session follows a Train & Play model: \n\nSkill Training (approx. 25 minutes):\nFocus on basketball fundamentals including ball handling\, passing\, shooting form\, footwork\, defense\, spacing\, and basketball IQ.\nStructured Gameplay (approx. 30 minutes):\nSmall-sided games and controlled scrimmages that emphasize decision-making\, teamwork\, and applying learned skills in live play.\n\nSchedule\nThursdays: 5:00–5:55pm \nPricing \n\n$20 per session\nIncluded at no additional cost for active Club OODAZU members\n\nRegister at the link below: \nhttps://ecom.roller.app/oodazudecatur/basketball/en-us/product/1852374?date=2026-05-14
