SPEED & AGILITY

Club OODAZU’s Youth Speed & Agility program is a fun, high-energy training experience designed to help young athletes move better, feel stronger, and gain confidence in every step.

Through structured drills, movement games, and age-appropriate plyometrics, athletes develop speed, coordination, balance, and body control in a supportive and engaging environment. This program builds the athletic foundation essential for success in all sports — while making movement exciting and enjoyable.

Program Overview

The Youth Speed & Agility program at Club OODAZU focuses on developing fundamental athletic movement skills that transfer across every sport. Each session blends structured speed and agility drills with fun relays and competitive-style games to improve quickness, balance, coordination, and power in an energetic, positive setting.

Younger athletes are introduced to foundational movement patterns through playful, engaging activities that build body control and confidence. Older participants focus on refining running mechanics, improving acceleration, and mastering change-of-direction skills through short sprints, reaction drills, and developmentally appropriate plyometric exercises such as jumping, hopping, landing, and quick takeoffs. All activities are carefully designed to be safe, age-appropriate, and progressive.

Led by experienced Club OODAZU coaches, sessions emphasize proper technique, effort, and growth — helping every athlete improve while enjoying the process.

Benefits

Speed & Agility training supports both athletic performance and long-term physical development. Athletes improve acceleration, balance, coordination, reaction time, and overall movement efficiency — building a stronger foundation that enhances performance in any sport they play.

Beyond physical gains, the program builds confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset. Athletes learn how to focus, push through challenges, and take pride in measurable improvement. In a structured yet encouraging environment, participants develop discipline, teamwork, and a positive relationship with training — setting them up for success both on and off the field.

Move. Accelerate. Dominate.
