Program Overview
Club OODAZU and Coach Bryan Odakura are excited to present our Youth Speed & Agility Program, designed to help young athletes move better, feel stronger, and gain confidence in every step. This fun, movement-based class builds the athletic foundation essential for all sports—and for lifelong fitness.
Our mission is to make movement FUN while building confidence, teamwork, and athletic ability—helping every child discover the joy of being active!
Coach Bryan is an experienced outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with over 11 years in the field. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University, later completing an orthopedic residency and becoming a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bryan is also a proud father of two boys, ages 5 and 8, who love playing all sports. He currently coaches baseball at DHYS and brings his clinical expertise and passion for athletics to his baseball and speed/coordination/power classes. Bryan is dedicated to helping young athletes develop strong movement mechanics, coordination, and confidence—laying the foundation for both athletic success and lifelong physical health.
Program Format
Each session combines age-appropriate speed, agility, and plyometric training—along with fun relays and games that develop quickness, balance, coordination, and power in a supportive and energetic environment.
Ages 6-9: 4:00 – 4:55pm
Young athletes are introduced to the fundamentals of athletic movement through playful, engaging activities. The focus is on building body control, balance, and confidence while developing teamwork and listening skills—all while having fun!
