OODAZU First Sports

OODAZU First Sports is a fun, structured, multi-sport introduction designed for young children who are ready to explore movement and athletics in a supportive group setting.

The program introduces the major sports commonly played in the U.S. — including soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and racquet sports — while helping children build confidence, coordination, and a love for being active.

Through guided games and age-appropriate activities, kids develop fundamental movement skills, learn how to participate in group settings, and gain early exposure to a variety of sports in a positive, non-competitive environment.

Program Overview

OODAZU First Sports is a multi-sport introduction program for children ages 2–5 who are ready to participate more independently in a structured, age-appropriate group setting. Each week, children rotate through foundational skills from soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and racquet sports while building core movement patterns such as running, jumping, balancing, kicking, throwing, catching, striking, and changing direction.

Sessions take place on both turf and hard courts and are led by Club OODAZU coaches who create an energetic, supportive environment focused on learning through play. Through engaging games, stations, and mini-challenges, children not only develop physical coordination but also gain confidence, improve listening skills, and learn how to participate positively in a group. This program is ideal for young athletes who are new to organized sports and ready to grow their independence while continuing to receive guidance and encouragement.

Children learn how to take turns, follow directions, work as part of a group, and navigate new challenges in a supportive, non-competitive environment. By introducing sports in a fun and pressure-free way, we help kids discover what they enjoy while building a strong foundation for lifelong participation in physical activity.

Current Programs

Adult & Me (18 - 42 Mo)

Introduce your toddler to the joy of movement and sports — together! First Sports: Adult & Me is a playful, parent-participation program where caregivers and young children explore foundational movement skills through age-appropriate activities, songs, obstacle courses, and simple games.

Each 30-minute session introduces basic elements of soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and racquet games with a focus on running, kicking, throwing, rolling, balancing, and hand-eye coordination — all in a fun, low-pressure environment designed to build confidence and spark a lifelong love of activity.

Led by Club OODAZU staff, this program is perfect for toddlers just beginning to explore physical play and caregivers who want to move, bond, and grow together. Parent or caregiver participation is required for all sessions.

Schedule: Saturdays @ 9am | 10 sessions | May 16 – August 1 (excluding May 23 & July 4)

Pricing: $18 per session | Free for active Club OODAZU members

3.5 Years - 5 Years

Get your little one moving with OODAZU First Sports — a multi-sport introduction program designed for children ages 3.5–5 who are ready to explore sports and movement in a fun, structured group setting.

Each 45-minute session rotates through foundational skills from soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and racquet sports — with activities focused on running, jumping, kicking, throwing, catching, balancing, and changing direction. Club OODAZU staff lead kids through engaging games, stations, and mini-challenges that make learning through play the whole point.

This program is perfect for kids new to organized sports who are ready to participate more independently while still receiving plenty of guidance and encouragement. Children develop confidence, coordination, listening skills, and a genuine love for being active — all in a supportive, energetic environment.

Please note this is not a drop-off program. A parent or guardian must remain on the premises during the session and may observe from designated viewing areas, the café, or the gym.
